One of the leading issues facing the United States today is Abortion. Abortion is unjustifiable, and is the blatant and cruel murder of God's beloved unborn. The scourge of Abortion has plagued the United States for far too long. Over 40 million murdered, and the number continues to grow at a disgusting rate of one every 20 seconds.
Both hoodwinked guinea pigs in the test cases which condemned our nation to abortion, Roe, and Doe, are now both strongly opposed to abortion. In Washington D C, more babies have been butchered since abortion became legal than currently live in Washington D C!!! Plus, there are now more abortions than births in Washington D C!!!
As to political action, there are few real choices when it comes to fighting the organized death mill. The Prohibition Party, long a bastion of integrity and truth, are the truest national ally the unborn have. Other friends in the struggle are the American Party, Constitution Party, Independent American Party, and the Right To Life Party of New York. To affect real change, drastic political action will need to be mobilized. The Republicans are not an option, a majority of the current blood drenched supreme court were appointed by Republicans. A major Right To Life campaign needs to be initiated. Whether the nominee be John Danforth, Bob Casey Jr, or a leader from the past like Tom Eagleton, the effort must commence!
Would victory be likely - in the long run YES!!! Few remember the Liberty Party of James G Birney, or the Free Soil runs of Martin Van Buren and John Parker Hale, but they layed the groundwork for the ultimate victory over slavery, the evil of its day, much as abortion is today.

No to favored trade status with China! On September 19, 2000, at 2:21 P.M., with the passage of H.R.4444, the United States did a grave injustice to all Americans, as well as all citizens of the world. This resolution was to establish normal trade relations with Communist China.
Apparently, the luster of money (as well as sizeable campaign contributions), have swayed the Senate. Never mind that China is vehemently opposed to freedom, and has murdered her own citizens when they have voiced an interest in freedom. Never mind that forced abortions and infanticide are rampant in China. Never mind that child labor and exploitation are the name of the game between China and United States industry.
Likewise, how soon we forget that Taiwan is the rightful, free, and Democratic heir and rightful holder of recognition from the United States as China.
Ignore the money, ignore the threats, and stand up for what is right and just. Be statesmen, not a bunch of petty politicians.
Unfortunately, by an 83-15 vote, the U S Senate turned it's back on justice, decency and morality, by granting normal trade relations to China. The 15 Senators who stood for something, and should be commended, are as follows:
Jim Bunning (R-Ky); Robert C Byrd (D-WV); Ben Nighthorse Campbell (R-Co); Russell Feingold (D-Wi); Jesse Helms (R-NC); Ernest Hollings (D-SC); Tim Hutchinson (R-Ar); James Inhofe (R-Ok); Jim Jeffords (R-Vt); Barbara Mikulski (D-Md); Harry Reid (D-Nv); Paul Sarbanes (D-Md); Bob Smith (R-NH); Arlen Specter (R-Pa); and Paul Wellstone (D-Mn).
These Senators deserve praise, while the others deserve shame.
